Lost in Translation

But nothing's lost. Or else: all is translation

And every bit of us is lost in it...

And in that loss a self-effacing tree,

Color of context, imperceptibly

Rustling with its angel, turns the waste

To shade and fiber, milk and memory.

Yesterday was declared General Cleaning Day by my mom, in which we were supposed to clean every nook and cranny of our rooms. I think I made it worse by taking out the garbage in my room, and just put it in another room. Yes, I was lazy like that. Take note: Was.

After a while mom found something that used to belong to her dad. To my surprise, It was a really old Leica camera! Imagine my reaction upon seeing something so beautiful! The leather, the smell of old metal. Yes, it was gorgeous. I told my mom I was going to have it cleaned and repaired. She agreed and told me to take care of it. 

Thanks mom, this is a treasure! I shall use this soon!

I took photos of it, using my Nikon d90

The black and white photos were taken using my old 100mm f2.8 lens. (film lens)

The colored ones were taken using my kit lens, 18-105mm

Absolutely gorgeous! I really hope I could use this. Thank you so much mom... and grandpa.
